Lucinda Elliot was born in Buckinghamshire, England, and loves writing darkly humorous historical gothic. As her parents made a living by renovating isolated, rambling old properties before it became fashionable, she was brought up in a variety of isolated, rambling old houses in the UK. Some of these would have made ideal settings for gothic novels, and maybe that is why she writes gothic. She loves a laugh more than anything, and is a classic English Literature and history geek.
